Dr. Anucha Thirakanont, Dean of the Fine and Applied Arts at Thammasat University is a long-time collector and expert on textiles. The Thai Textile Society is fortunate to get a glimpse at these fascinating and obscure Assiut textiles, as well as a selection of ikat, brocade and embroidered pieces from India and Central Asia.
